Work outfit:


Detail of shirt and high-waist. Yeah, it's a snug fit, but I wanted the shorts so bad! I'll shave my hip bones down.


Shoes. I just got these at Marshalls. NBD...


Yeah, Coco probably thinks I look like a dancing monkey, but at least I don't have the vest to match!

So, I didn't really wear anything cool to work today and actually changed right when I got there, but I was really into the outfit I wore to the movies:



{Side note-my pictures suck because they're taken from a phone. I sold my camera because I "never used it". Really? Never?!}

I love this outfit for these reasons:
-It is weather appropriate because it's a freakin hurricane outside.
-It is the antithesis of what I wear to work normally.
-It reminds me of the outfit the wife from the movie Funny Games (both versions) escapes in. Which is weird because I don't know why I would want to look like I just threw on clothes because these two strange men just killed my son and my husband can't walk so I have to run and try to find help and hope the men don't come back to kill us too. But I think it's the overall look of "I found it in a suitcase and it looked comfortable and easy to run in" that I like. I mean, I did have to run in the rain...


And I LOVE those leggings! They are so versatile! Because in the outfit above, they're super casual, but in this outfit that my friend Chelsea wore out on the town, they're dressed up:



Man, they're awesome. I want to wear them everyday!





Yes, I have become that person and this has become that blog.

I had to drive through this mess of scary hoodlums. You can't see that many in the picture because I didn't want to have valuables out when I got closer and I also had to lock my doors when they started circling. Eeek!
